About Me

The life of Clive “The Glide” Weeden
It has been a wild ride which has brought me to the lovely Southwest and into my dream job of helping people build homes.
Originally, I come from a small town outside of Boston in the United States (yes, it is super cold there). Being absurdly tall I began using basketball as an outlet from a young age and the game has ended up taking me across the world. I attended Dartmouth College for University where I majored in Econmics and Sociology. Being a part of the Ivy League, the demands of academics and athletics was extremely fierce. After graduation, I intended to play basketball professionally for several years before starting normal working life. I was fortunate enough to play in both Macedonia and Tunisia before stumbling into a role playing for the Southwest Slammers in Bunbury.
I fell in love with the community and the location which made my decision to stay extremely easy. As player and captain of the Slammers for 7 season I have made some of the best friends of my life and met some truly remarkable people throughout the community.
During this time, I met my beauiful wife, Diana, and we now have 3 ravishly handsome (I am not biased at all…) young boys. My family is my world and when I am not working I love nothing more than being at home or the beach enjoying every possible second with them.
I have been extremely fortunate to have loved all my jobs in Australia but my true passion came, 5 years ago, when I entered the new homes building industry. The fire inside me to help people own homes any possible way I can grew exponentially when I joined the Stop Renting Bunbury team almost 2 years ago. Their support for me and my family has been nothing less than extraordinary and I am so happy to pass that same level of service and rapport on to the clients I am so lucky to work with.
